After touring in South Bali, the Cipta Dharma School alumnis headed for North Bali by passing through Bedugul. Bedugul is a mountainous region in central Bali that has several tourist attractions, such as a Indonesia’s largest botanic garden (157 hectares to be precise), Beratan Lake and the Twin Lakes (Tamblingan & Buyan) and famous culinary spots. After their adventure in Bedugul, the group continued their journey to the souvenir shop Krisna in Buleleng. At Krisna, they had a coffee break and enjoyed the fresh air of the countryside.
In the evening, the group arrived at Mimpi Resort Menjangan. Following breakfast the next day, they went snorkeling at Menjangan Island to see all the underwater wonders, and also went kayaking in the lagoon to explore the surrounding mangrove forest.
The short reunion ended with a party livened up by elections music, followed by dinner and several speeches by members of the alumni group. They cherished their memories together all the way from primary school until this reunion tour where they could enjoy the Balinese countryside, from Bedugul to the facilities at Mimpi Resort Menjangan. They particularly enjoyed the natural hot springs and the togetherness it brings the friends. It was a relaxing reunion where they could focus on cherishing their friendships.
The party continued until late, and the next morning the friends continued their journey to Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot is one the most famous and scenic beachside temples in Bali – definitely a site not to be missed when you’re in Bali. At the temple you can also enjoy the sacred Balinese Kecak dance.
