On October 23rd, 2019, we hosted guests from Mercedes-Benz Sport Light (SL) Club Indonesia, they are Mercedes-Benz owners and enthusiasts who own Benz cars from the 60s to the modern sports cars. The guests were warmly welcomed by Mimpi Resort Menjangan’s General Manager, Mr. Chandra Prasetya. represented by Mr. Chandra Prasetya as Resort Manager. The guests include the President of Mercedes-Benz Sport Light (SL) Club Indonesia Made Harianta and the former Deputy Chief of National Police for the period 2011-2013 Komjend Pol (Ret.) Nanan Soekarna, and also many other successful entrepreneurs who journeyed from Banyuwangi to Bali with the theme of “Bali Cabrio Getaway”.
As for their activities while at Mimpi Resort Menjangan, aside from being a place to rest and rejuvenate, they also forged a bond and gave donations to a local organization “Tresna Werda Jara Mara Pati Singaraja Social Home”, who provides assistance and skills development for low-income citizens. Our chef, Mr. Afrizal, created a special menu at Sunset Beach Restaurant for the charity dinner, and the night was filled with laughter and music from the acoustic bands and vocalists. Several club members also showed off their singing prowess and performed on stage. The festive atmosphere continued until 11.00pm, ending with a Poco-poco dance and Gemu Fa Mi Re regional song.
After breakfast at Sunset Beach Restaurant, the members of Mercedes-Benz Sport Light (SL) Club Indonesia continued their tour to Ubud by going through the scenic Bedugul route.
